Catherine Carter

 

 

Here's a little bit about Catherine:

 

I am married with three children and 

I live in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
 

I have been Paper crafting and creating now
 for around 12 years.
I've found that my style has changed a lot since I started.

I was a textile student at college and I love embroidery.
I love mixed media products on fabric and then
adding stitching on top.

I love to
experiment with inks and stamps and
I especially love to create with the vintage
style of work.

  

Crafting plays an important role in my daily life and gives me a chance to use my creative side.

 

Here's the gorgeous card that Catherine

has made for our current challenge
 Pearls and Lace

This is such a beautiful
black and white card, Catherine!

Your glamorous vintage stamp looks
gorgeous surounded
by all of that elegant black lace!

We love the black lacy flower embellishment
that you made with the pretty pearl center.
It really pops
on the white ribbon bow.
The white pearls make the perfect
corner embellishments and finishing touches.

Lorraine Lowe

Here's a little bit about Lorraine:

I'm a single parent living in Gloucestershire with my
son James and Jack Russell pup named Jessie.

I am both an avid crafter and animal lover and have
been crafting for several years.  I started off with
decoupage, progressed onto rubber stamping,
which is my true love, then digi images started
to play a part in my card making.

Recently I've taken up crochet again after many
years absence and due to the internet I've been
able to learn tons more than I ever dreamed
possible.  I believe I've added an extra interest
to my day to day crafting
