Guest Designer for Challenge 74 - Anything Goes

Hello and happy Friday!

********

Today the Fussy and Fancy girls
are very happy to introduce
our very talented guest designer

Here is a little bit about Cathy:

I am a Canadian mom to an almost 3 year old son
who definitely keeps my husband and I on our toes.
As I work outside of the home full time I don't
have much spare time, but try to use what I have wisely,
which means I am crafting almost every spare moment!

I love making cards as it is a fun creative outlet and it is
small enough that I don't feel overwhelmed by the mess
I get myself into.  I've been stamping and paper crafting
for almost 5 years and I love getting inky!  I also love
to combine patterns and almost no project goes
without some kind of sparkle.

I am so excited about joining Fussy and Fancy
as a guest designer especially on an "anything goes"
challenge.  How lucky am I?  I hope you enjoy my
card and I can't wait to see what everyone
else comes up with.

And here is the lovely card
that Cathy has made for our

We can clearly see your love of
patterned papers and how they
all blend so perfectly together.

The rosette that has been formed
with the elephant image as the
focal point really stands out
along with those gorgeous
handmade flowers.

We hope that you can
visit Cathy's blog

to read more about her card and
to see more of her lovely work

It's been a real pleasure Cathy - thank you!

xx Happy crafting and glittery hugs xx

Guest Designer for Challenge 73 - Easel Card

Hello and Happy Friday!

Today the Fussy and Fancy girls
are very happy to announce our
very talented guest designer

Here is a little bit about Karen:

I became interested in paper arts at the age of 11
and thus started my decoupage journey where
anything that didn’t move would be decoupaged.
I started making cards on the computer about
twelve years ago and did that for several years,
drifting into making cards 'by hand' seven years ago.

My love affair with stamps began in earnest in the past
six years when my best friend moved out of state.  I really
missed her and felt a connection to her by making hand
made cards which were sent to her.  So from that point
things just snowballed and I'm now totally hooked.

I'm always looking for new techniques and love to make
my own backgrounds.  I really enjoy the creative outlet
of making little works of art and every day is an
adventure in the stamping world.

And here is the lovely card
that Karen has made for our

What a beautiful vintage easel
card.  The design paper you have
chosen makes the perfect background
for this lovely lady!  The gorgeous
green bow sits perfectly on her hat
and the pink rose makes a great
embellishment complimenting the
rose that she's holding in her hand.
The effect is simply lovely!

We hope that you can visit
Karen's Blog

to read more about her lovely card and
see more of her wonderful work

It's been a real pleasure Karen - thank you!

Hi I'm Suzanne and I've been married for 30 years
and have 2 grown up sons.  For those that visit
the DoCrafts site I'm known as Suzanne2

I started making cards 4 years ago when  I
couldn't find the perfect card for my sons 25th
so I came home and googled 'handmade cards'
and a whole new world opened up to me and
I've been hooked ever since!

I'm lucky enough to be able to stay at home
and craft as I don't work.  I fill my day with the
usual boring stuff but I still find plenty of time for
crafting and I love trying new techniques.  I really
enjoy stamping and colouring with my promarkers
and copics and watching the images come to life

Card making is my passion and I can't wait to join
in the fun at Fussy and Fancy

Hello my name's Nathalie and I live near Paris in France.
I teach in a primary school and have been making cards
now for almost 5 years.  I began with stamps and then
I discovered digi's and markers, especially copics!

Being part of a design team is new for me, but I am
very excited to work with such talented ladies

Hi my name's Shell and I'm a forty something year
old crafter.  I live on the Wirral with my hubby
Kev and our youngest son and have an older
son who lives not too far away with his
girlfriend and our adorable Granddaughter
Courtney Rose.  It's so true what they say
about grandchildren, they are your reward
for putting up with your kids as teenagers
ha, ha, ha ........

I have been making cards for about
7 years now and I just love colouring.  I mostly
use digital stamps because I love the fact that I can
make them any size I want

********

Vicki, Suzanne & Shell will be
joining Team B so you'll see their
fab designs in the challenge below

Nathalie & Mel will be joining
Team A so you'll have to wait
until the next challenge before
you get to see their talents

Welcome to the design team ladies!
