For the last few challenges we have
been saying hello and goodbye to
design team members, but today
we are saying "welcome" to
a talented crafter who will complete
our team and bring us back up to
full numbers again.

Simone Campbell was one of Ivonne's
top 5 picks from challenge 90 and
we are pleased that she accepted our
invitation to join us.

Here's Simone to introduce herself:

(click on my photo to visit my blog)

Hi my name's Simone Campbell and I'm 41 years young.
I have an identical twin sister, Eulanda, who is huge into
card making as well as my mother Dorothy who I'm
assuming we got our creative abilities from.

My fiancée and I  have recently relocated from Williams Lake
in Canada to Vancouver Island, Canada for his work.  We are
really loving it here but I prefer to be closer to my family if
given the choice.  Of course we make the best of it and it
has been a new experience for all of us.

I've been crafting for a long time but I'm mostly drawn
to card making as my main hobby.  I don't work at the
moment so am able to focus huge on my cards.  I find
when I don't get enough time to allow my "creative
juices" out I actually get a little cranky so I consider it
more of a necessity than a hobby.

Guest Designer for Challenge 91 - Button Up

Hello and happy Friday

********

Today the Fussy and Fancy girls
are happy to introduce
our very talented guest designer

Kelly Smith

Here's a little bit about Kelly:

Hi my name's Kelly and I'm from Lincolnshire, England.
I've been married to Karll for 10 years on the 28th of June
this year!  Where does the time go?
We have a fiesty ginger cat called Ruby and an adorable,
but a bit nutty, Cavalier King Charles called Archie.

I work in a school office, so lucky ol' me gets the school
holidays to craft away!  I've always loved being creative and
as a little girl I constantly had a colouring book and crayons
with me.  So of course I LOVE stamping and colouring!

My favourite stamps are Penny Black (I couldn't tell you
how many I have of these), closely followed by Lili of the
Valley, Wild Rose Studio, House Mouse, Sugar
Nellie and Humphrey's Corner.  I use my Promarkers for
colouring with mostly but do still love my Faber-Castell
Watercolour Pencils.  My favourite embellishments are
lace, pearls and ribbon and I adore the digi papers from
Pink Petticoat.

Here's the adorable baby card that Kelly
has made for our current challenge

Button Up

This is such a beautiful baby card Kelly.
The Penny Black image is so cute and
your colouring is lovely.

We love these gorgeous soft blue papers
that you've chosen and just look at those
pretty flowers you made!  The blue inked
edges really make them pop.  Our favourite
part has to be the blue button centers
you added, just perfect for our challenge!

The lace and pearls you used are
so soft and the adorable little charm
makes the perfect finishing touch.

We hope that you visit Kelly's blog

and how she made it.

It's been a real pleasure Kelly - thank you!

We're saying a sad farewell to one of
our design team this week, so thank
you to Ashley for all of her inspiration
over the last 14 months and we wish
her well out there in blogland.

We also have a new face to introduce
into the design team and that comes
in the form of Berit Synnove.

Berit was chosen as one of the top 5
from our last challenge and we've
invited her along to come and join us.

Here's Berit to introduce herself to you:

(click on my photo to visit my blog)

I live in the middle of Norway, have been engaged to my
fiancée now for 18 years and we have two beautiful sons.

I've been paper crafting since 2007 when I made some
layouts for my eldest sons confirmation.  Since then I've made
lots of cards and layouts, but I prefer card making.  I really
enjoy colouring images with my distress inks and water and I
can sit down doing this for many hours.  Of course I also like
buying new stash much like any other paper crafter!

Guest Designer for Challenge 90 - Bling It On

Hello and happy Friday

********

Today the Fussy and Fancy girls
are happy to introduce
our very talented guest designer

Katie Tate

Here's a little bit about Katie:

I am a wife of 18 years and a Mum to three beautiful
children.  I'm English by birth, but have been in the
US now for over sixteen years and I reside in
sunny north Texas.

I've been paper crafting for fourteen years and card
making for four.  I love to color! I've been colouring
all my life.  You could always find a colouring book
and felt tip pens in my Christmas stocking.

Copic Markers are my medium of choice and I'm
certified in the use of them.  The blending that can be
achieved with them is so wonderful and you can
often find me cheerfully colouring, even though
I have no card idea in mind.

I love all types of cards, but struggle a little with the
CAS style, I'm a more is more kinda gal!

And here's the gorgeous card that Katie
has made for our current challenge

Bling It On

Add caption

This is such a beautiful, fun
and inspiring card Katie.

The butterflies you've created
with corrugated cardstock and pearls
look beautiful teamed up
with the pretty embroidered lace.

And the adorable "My Besties" digi
image you chose to work with is so fun.
You coloured her up so beautifully with
such soft pretty pastels.

Then you finished your card off with
the sentiment "Believe in yourself",
we can't help but smile and feel inspired
when we look upon your card!

We hope that you visit Katie's blog

to read more about Katie's lovely card
and how she made it.

It's been a real pleasure Katie - thank you!
