Fussy and Fancy's Featured Guest Designer for Challenge 129 - Snowflakes and Ribbon

Hello and happy Friday!

Today the Fussy and Fancy girls
are happy to introduce
our very talented
Guest Designer

Here's a little about Karien:

I am proudly South African and I live in a town called Newcastle in KZN.

During the day I am a Business Banker at one of SA's largest Banks.

I usually scrap early mornings and an hour or 2 at night.

I have been Married for 23 years and we have a son and a daughter.

I am excited that I will soon to be grandmother to a little boy and his
due date is Christmas day!
I started doing scrapbooking in 2005.........and I am totally addicted to scrapbooking, card making and altered art. Other hobbies include photography, baking, painting, sewing and beading!!!
Thanks and hugs

Very special update!
Karien has shared the birth information of her precious new grandson!

"Our grandson was born 19th December by C-section in the morning at 8h22
and weighed in at 3.77 kg. He is too cute for words and will be christened
Du'Mondt Dante de Nysschen."

Congratulations Karien!

Karien has created this gorgeous blue
Christmas card for our
 Snowflakes and Ribbon Challenge
using the "Holly Stocking digi"
from Fresh Brewed Designs!
Karien your card is both stunning and creative!
What a lovely job you did paper piecing the
The blue striped accents on the stocking look
great with the pretty snowflakes.
We love the fun pom-pom fringe!
And the pretty ribbon and bells, along with the
sparkly snowflakes, certainly do make your
card festive!
Then the pretty white die cut in the background
gives the illusion of swirling snow with
the pretty blue gems you added.

Your in for a real treat when you visit
Karien's blog

to read more about her lovely card and
to see more of her beautiful creations!
I do hope that you can stop by to visit her.

It's been a real pleasure, Karien
Well done!
Thank you for sharing your
talent with us!
Enjoy your adorable baby grandson!
